The Port of Helsinki aims to improve the comfort, services and energy efficiency of the Olympiaparkki car park connected to the Olympia Terminal. The renovation project starts on the week of 20 June and ends in late August.
During the renovation project, the Olympiaparkki car park will be provided with energy-efficient and reliable new doors, more air source heat pumps and optimised building services.
The pleasantness of the car park will also be improved with a new coat of paint, efficient LED lighting and improved signage.
Parking services will also be enhanced: the car park will have charging stations for electric cars, and advance booking of a parking space will be enabled to be adopted later.
The renovation project will be carried out in stages, and the car park will remain open throughout the project. However, there will be fewer parking spaces available than normally.
The Olympia Terminal offers a daily passenger ship connection to Stockholm. The ships operating out of the terminal are M/S Symphony and M/S Serenade operated by Silja Line. The Olympiaparkki car park is in the ground floor of the terminal building to make parking and departing as smooth as possible.
