So that visits and work in the harbour areas can be carried out smoothly and safely, harbour regulations and safety directives must be followed when in any Port of Helsinki area. All those working in harbour areas must also adhere to the terms of our environmental permits.
- Operations are steered by certified quality, environmental and occupational safety systems.
- The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code requires all movement within harbour areas to be subject to a permit and monitored.
Clear instructions, adherence to these, and good cooperation allow for work in the harbour areas to be carried out smoothly, safely and efficiently.
